Washington & Jefferson College's Center for Energy Policy and Management hosted Managing Partner Steven Schmitz on a webinar about the importance of renewable natural gas (RNG), as part of its Energy Lecture Series. Schmitz was joined by Tom Spears, Operations Manager for WM. During the webinar Schmitz explained what RNG is, as well as how it is captured and processed for use. He gave an overview of Green Rock’s South Hills project, which converts naturally occurring landfill emissions into clean RNG.
